The journey
PFK Neftchi was founded in 1962 in Fergana.
After independence the club regularly took high places in the Uzbek league and Cup.
Today PFK Neftchi represents the Super League on the national and international stage.

Club founded
The club is founded on the base of oil-industry sportsmen of the Fergana region.
1973–1975
Soviet Class B
The club competes in the USSR Class B and in 1973 becomes regional champion.
1986
Bronze in the USSR second division
Third place in the USSR second division — best result of the period.
1992
The champion of the championship of independent Uzbekistan
"Neftchi" became a founding member of the Higher League of independent Uzbekistan and claimed the championship title in its inaugural season.
1992–1995
The club became the champion three years in a row.
1993, 1994, and 1995 — three consecutive Uzbekistan Cup victories.
1994
Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Cup
Runners-up (1994): In the tournament held in Moscow among the champions of the former Soviet republics, "Neftchi" reached the final, where they lost to Russia's "Spartak Moscow" and claimed the silver medals.

Asian Club Championship (currently the AFC Champions League)
3rd place (1994/95 season): In this season, the Fergana side reached the semifinals of the tournament featuring Asia's strongest teams and finished 3rd on the continent, marking one of the first major achievements for Uzbek clubs on the international stage.

A modern 20,000-seat arena opens.

Our team won the championship title for the 6th time in its history.

Uzbekistan Super Cup winners (1-time)
In the 2025/26 season, by defeating the defending champions "Pakhtakor" with a score of 1-0, the team claimed this trophy for the first time in its history.
